Will You Help Fight Breast Cancer?
Here I go again! I will be riding in the ninth annual Breast Cancer Bike Ride on August 13. This will be my eighth time to bike in this event, which supports those living with breast cancer in Minnesota and research to help stop this terrible disease.
I volunteer weekly at one beneficiary, Open Arms, which prepares, packages, and delivers healthful meals to breast cancer patients and patients with other illnesses. Working there, I find fulfillment in doing a good deed and also community with other like-minded people. Who knew chopping veggies and baking dozens upon dozens of baguettes and cookies could be so much fun?
Would you please support my ride with a donation by selecting the "Donate Now" bar in the upper right hand corner of this page?
My ambitious fundraising goal to defeat breast cancer and help patients fighting this evil disease is $2500. If everyone who can gives a little and asks friends to do the same, it can all add up to make a huge difference in the battle against breast cancer!
Care to Join In?
If you're interested in doing more than making a donation, you might like to pedal with me or be on the crew. The Ride is fully supported and very well organized. It is a great ride and we riders all feel that, as we have fun, we are doing something great for our community!
